How to convert JPG to PDF

  1. Add images. Drop your .jpg photos onto the box above or tap it to browse. Add as many as you need — up to 200 images per PDF.
  2. Arrange pages. Every card is one page. Drag cards into position (or use the arrow buttons on mobile) and rotate any image with the rotate button.
  3. Configure the page. Choose A4, Letter, A3 or original image size, portrait or landscape, set the margins, and pick Fit (image inside the margins) or Fill (image covers the page).
  4. Create and download. Press “Create PDF”, watch the progress, then download the finished file. The moment you leave this page, the generated PDF is gone from memory — you keep the only copy.

Supported formats and options

  • Input: standard .jpg and .jpeg files (JPG/JFIF compression), including mobile photos with EXIF orientation data — the correct upright display is applied automatically.
  • Output: standards-compliant PDF, one page per image, downloadable directly from your browser.
  • Page sizes: A4 (210×297 mm), Letter (8.5×11 in), A3 (297×420 mm), or the image’s own pixel size at 72 dpi.
  • Optimization: optional JPEG re-encoding in your browser at a quality you choose — useful when the source photos are very large files.

Limitations, stated plainly

  • Fill bleeds to the page edge. When Fill is selected the image covers the whole page, so the margin setting doesn’t apply to filled pages.
  • Original-size pages are physically large. Pixel size is treated at 72 dpi (1 px = 1 pt), so a 4000-pixel photo becomes a ~141 cm wide page. Choose a paper size when a printable document is the goal.
  • Special JPEG variants may not embed. A small number of exotic or damaged JPEGs (e.g. rare CMYK encodings) can fail — each failed image is reported and skipped, and the rest of your batch still finishes.
  • Mirrored EXIF orientations are approximated. Orientation values that combine rotation with mirroring (rare) are applied as rotation only.
  • No upload means no server-side OCR — this tool builds image-only PDFs and cannot extract text.
  • Batches use your device’s memory. Very large batches (hundreds of high-resolution photos) depend on your device’s available memory; the tool caps single images at 50 MB and batches at 200 files to fail gracefully rather than freeze.

FAQ

Is the JPG to PDF tool free?

Yes — completely free, no account, no watermark, no daily limit. It runs entirely inside your web browser.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Your browser converts the images into a PDF on your own device. Files never leave your computer or phone. The page sets a strict security policy (CSP) so it cannot send your data anywhere, and it keeps working even if your connection drops mid-task.

Which image formats are supported?

JPG and JPEG files, including photos with EXIF orientation data. PNG, WebP and HEIC images are not supported here — use our PNG to JPG or WebP converter tools first. A dedicated HEIC tool is in licensing review.

Can I control the page order, rotation and size?

Yes. Drag image cards (or use the arrow buttons on mobile) to reorder pages, rotate any image in 90° steps, choose A4, A3, Letter or original image size, switch portrait or landscape, set margins, and pick Fit or Fill placement.

Why is the finished PDF larger than expected?

By default your photos are embedded with their original JPEG data, so quality is identical to the source images. Turn on the optimization option to re-encode images at a quality level you choose for a smaller file.

Privacy: this tool processes your photos in your browser. No file is uploaded to any server — the site’s security policy technically prevents it. You can even load the page once and finish your work offline.
