Terms of Service

Plain-language terms for using MuraTools. By using the site you agree to them. Last updated: 31 October 2026.

1. What the service is

MuraTools (https://muratools.pages.dev) provides browser-based tools. Tools currently marked available process selected files in your browser; other tool pages are informational and are not yet functional. The available file tools do not upload selected files — see our Privacy page.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using MuraTools you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. No warranty

The tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Browser-based processing depends on your device, browser version and available memory; output quality and capability may vary accordingly. You are responsible for verifying the correctness of any output you rely on, and for keeping backup copies of files you process.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the site for unlawful purposes or to process content you have no right to use.
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the site's delivery infrastructure.
Automated scraping or abusing the service in a way that degrades it for others is not permitted.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MuraTools and Murabyte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including data loss, corrupted files or lost profits — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site.

6. Intellectual property

The MuraTools name, design, written content and source code are the property of Murabyte. You retain full ownership of — and all rights over — any files or data you process with our tools, because they never leave your device.

7. Third-party & open-source license notices

The site is built with Astro (MIT licence) and includes browser-side dependencies for specific tools, including @cantoo/pdf-lib for PDF creation and client-zip for ZIP downloads. They are bundled with the static site and run on your device.

Additional libraries and licences will be documented here as applicable before new tools ship.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
