About MuraTools

A different kind of online tools site

Most free online tools work the same way: you upload your file to their server, it is processed there, and a result is sent back. That means your documents, photos or data pass through — and are stored on — someone else's computer.

MuraTools takes a local-first approach. Supported tools use the processing power already inside your browser. When you convert a PDF, compress an image or format data, processing happens on your device and your input is not uploaded to our servers.

MuraTools is an independent product of Murabyte, built with the same quality expectations we hold for every Murabyte project: clean design, honest behaviour and respect for the user's own technology.

What you can expect from us

• Local processing. Supported tools process files and data in your browser without uploading your input.
• No accounts. Every tool works instantly, with zero sign-up.
• No analytics configured. The project does not include analytics code; Cloudflare Pages may process standard request data to deliver the site.
• No invented claims. We don't publish benchmark numbers or testimonials we can't stand behind.

An honest view of trade-offs

Browser-based processing depends on your device's speed and memory, so very large batches may take longer or be limited by your browser's resources. We prefer saying that plainly to promising numbers we can't guarantee. Results also depend on your browser version — using an up-to-date browser gives the best experience.
