Privacy, in plain English

The available browser-based tools process your files and inputs in your browser. Planned tools are not available yet. Here is what that means and what the site itself may see. Last updated: November 3, 2026

File processing happens in your browser

Available browser-based tools load processing code in your browser. When you select files or inputs, your browser reads and processes them locally. The website's code does not upload the selected files or results.

Based on the inspected implementation, there is no file-upload code path, and our Content-Security-Policy limits connections to the site itself. This reduces data exposure but does not guarantee absolute security.

What the site can see

Like any web server, our hosting provider records standard technical request logs that may include your IP address, browser user-agent string, the page requested and the time. The hosting provider's retention and use of this data are governed by its own policies. Tool results are processed locally and are not sent as part of page requests.

What we do not do

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you load a page, the request passes through Cloudflare's global network — see Cloudflare's trust hub for their handling of network-level data. The site also includes browser-side open-source libraries for specific tools; these are served as part of the site and do not upload selected files.
